Description
On introduction locos 6200/01 were given Fowler pattern tenders, whilst 6202-12 received standard Stanier 9 ton, 4000 gallon tenders. (Comet Models TK1). These were carried for a couple of years only, and by the end of 1936 all except 6202 had been coupled with this high capacity 10 ton, 4000 gallon design. They were of fully rivetted construction, but unlike the Coronation type were not equipped with coal pushers, with the sole exception of 46206.
Sieve boxes were fitted to the underframe from circa 1946. (Included in pack TF1).
