Description
Built to the limit of the L&Y loading gauge, these handsome carriages had a modern appearance. They were used on through services arriving daily at four London termini and to destinations as diverse as Yarmouth and Edinburgh. The first ten built were banned from Scotland and the MR due to their height. The kit is supplied with the earlier pattern bogies with conventional outside springs. If you want the later bogies, choose kit LYRD084L instead.
