Description
These carriages ran on 9′ deep frame bogies and were electrically lit from new. Along with diagrams 307 and 309, they were commonly used as the outer vehicles of an Inter Corridor set (the centre vehicles being D131 and D135 CKs). Note that D308 is built to the opposite hand to D307 and D309; when looking at the corridor side, the brake van is at the right-hand end. They are believed to have been the first LNWR carriages built with a high roof profile.
