Description
Running on 9′ bogies, all were fitted with electric lighting from new, and some of D131 were dual braked. They were commonly used as one of the two centre vehicles of an Inter Corridor set (the other centre vehicle being a D135 CK, and the two outers BTKs from D307/308/309). Many were downgraded to all thirds in later years. The two diagrams differed only in D131 having 3 per side seating in 1st class, whereas D132 had 2 per side.
