Description
An etch of 32 mounting plates, designed for use with AC3/1, AC3/3, AC4/1 and AC4/3 autocouplings.
The mounting plates simplify fitting the couplings to both ready-to-run and kit-built rolling stock, and also enable AC3/1 and AC3/3 to be used on curves down to 2′ radius, compared with the normal recommended minimum of 4′. They also enable AC4/1 and AC4/3 to be used on curves below 2′ radius.
Please note that the mounting plates will require cutting to size if used with AC3/1 and AC3/3 when modelling in 3mm scale.
The actual size of the fret is 82 x 102½mm; it is etched in 0.015″ brass. Each mounting plate is 22mm wide x 8mm deep.
