Description
This pack contains etched parts to construct a Stevens & Co. 2-doll wooden post bracket, as used by the London & South Western and Lynton & Barnstaple Railway companies. The design was introduced in the 1890s, and was used for new contracts until the introduction of the lattice post design (S021).
The brackets are 21mm (3′) wide x 28mm (4′) deep; the trimmers are 68mm (9’9″) wide x 7mm (1′) deep.
The parts are etched in 0.018″ brass.
To model a complete signal as shown in the drawing, you will need: a base post (S017); two dolls (S017 or S033 series); signal arms (S011 lower quadrant or S012 series upper quadrant); finials (SC028); lamps (SC01 lower quadrant or SC06 upper quadrant); and ladders (S7/09 or S09 series).
